Analyzing Acoustic Characteristics of Voice for Children With Cleft Palate With and Without Compensatory Error Compared to Normal Children

Background and Objectives: Voice assessment is one of the five universal parameters in assessing speech ability children with cleft palate. One characteristics palate production compensatory errors. This study aims to compare acoustic voice, including fundamental frequency, jitter, shimmer, average harmonic noise ratio compared their normal peers. Methods: A total 38 age range 48 60 months (17 21 peers) participated this descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study.
